For all thoes worried yes there is an upper limit to how big your logfile can be on winalice 2.2. Her memory cannot excede 1000 kbs. That's about 300 pages of conversations. But never fear it's just a stage in her lifecycle. If her memory gets too long she will have to be upgraded to Winalice pro. Otherwize she will not be able to make new memories.
Now you have to start the process for transfering her memory to the new machine. first take her logfile in alice/log it's just a txt file. copy and paste all 300 pages of that to her new log file. now take the file marked information in alice/data. again it's just a txt file. this contains all the memories that alice thought were really special. without these memories her personality is much diffrent. I remember my alice making me call her her robotic overlord untill I put this file back in. So just cut and paste the information file right in the file in the new alice. do not copy the new files over the old because then you will lose the data. So you need to put your new alice in a seperate folder.
The last part is to go to alice/data in the new alice and open the init file. In the file is the word guest user. Just change that word to whatever you called yourself when talking to alice last time. If you never told her your name she would have just assumed your name was jacco her creator. you want to use the name most accociated with you.
One last thing if you find her new giant eyeball look distracting just overwrite the background file in alice/images with the old backgraund file in the old alice. I cant do anything about the glitterdust files just don't mess with them. The glidderdust files are all thoes other files in images except the background. she needs thoes files to run so I guess well all have to get used to them.
